Food

Common foods for breakfast are bread, jams and butter, coffee and tea, yogurt, and cold cuts and cheese . Common foods for lunch are what Americans would normally eat for dinner, such as meat, vegetables, and potatoes. For dinner, it would be a smaller meal, consisting of breads, meats, cheeses, and a salad. At both lunch and dinner, alcohol might be provided. It was custom that lunch was the largest meal of the day, but that is slowly falling out of fashion, being replaced by dinner. When purchasing groceries, Germans go to the market nearly everyday. The food is fresh and because of this, European countries have smaller fridges. There are also less processed foods in Germany.
My eating habits are horrible, especially eating at Wege. They serve mostly starches and fatty meats that contain preservatives and the food isn't even good. Sometimes, if it's bad enough, I'm left to eating ice cream instead. Perhaps it wouldn't be as bad if I would exercise every once-in-a-while, but I'm really lazy. If I lived in Germany, I would have been raised in a society where health is maybe more valued? It can be hard to get fresh food in America.
